Travellers Paradise - Cairns

The location of this hotel was fantastic, just a short walk from the main attractions in town. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel provided free wifi, which was a bonus.

The hotel lacked amenities. There was no swimming pool or fitness center, which would have been nice to have during my stay.

The hotel looked exactly like the advertised photos and was well-maintained. The owner, Peter, was friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to store our bags before check-in. The location of the guest house was convenient, being near a shopping center and within walking distance of restaurants and bars. The free Wi-Fi was a great plus, and the kitchen area was spacious and open all night. I had a great experience at Travellers Paradise Heritage and would recommend it to others.

This hotel is located right opposite a shopping centre, which is very convenient. the room service was excellent, and the breakfast tasted amazing and had plenty of options. the view from the hotel room was fantastic and made us feel relaxed. We also enjoyed the leisure facilities this hotel had to offer, like the pool and spa. As we were looking for a hotel close to the beach, we loved that it was just a short walk away from the hotel.

The WiFi connection was low.

Comfortable beds, clean shared bathrooms down the hall. Helpful manager and great local tour recommendations. Traditional Queenlander style rooms with high ceilings and new fans. Convenient location near train station and nightlife/restaurants. Nice pool area and clean kitchen facilities.

Spent my Xmas holidays at a backpacker accommodation and it was a good experience. the location was perfect, close proximity to the market where I got all the fresh fruits I needed. the shower was great too, had a good water pressure and hot all the time. the decorations were cute too, and the flyer provided was very helping in deciding what activity I was going to do next.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, I could feel the ventilator from the room below me. there was no locker available for valuables which was a bummer.

I had a fantastic stay at Travellers Paradise! The location couldn't be better, with the rail station and shops just a stone's throw away. Travellers Paradise Heritage Historical Place exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the hotel offers great value for money with affordable prices and attention to detail. The rooms are comfortable and come with a double bed and our own private fridge. The air conditioning works well, ensuring a cool and pleasant stay. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located close to a big shopping mall, perfect for any retail therapy needs. The surrounding leafy back garden adds a touch of tranquility to the ambiance. Lastly, the staff are friendly and provide excellent service, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay.

The complementary fridge in the room was very convenient for keeping drinks cool. The location was pretty good, only a short walk to the beach and some good restaurants nearby. The air conditioning worked well and was a lifesaver in the heat.

My room was in need of some serious maintenance. The floorboards felt like they were about to give out and the whole building shook whenever someone walked around.

This hotel is a luxurious gem and exceeded our expectations. the outdoor swimming pool surrounded by palm trees and flowers was a highlight, along with the comfortable sun loungers. the room had exclusive amenities, including a leisure/TV room, and the private facilities were top-notch. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding areas and enjoy local eateries and activities. Cons: While there was only one minor issue, the beach umbrellas could have been better positioned to shield from the midday sun. this hotel provided an exceptional and unforgettable experience that we highly recommend.
